1、 Principle

The principle of a floating ball Steam Trap is to control the opening and closing of the valve through the rise and fall of the floating ball, thereby controlling the discharge of condensate and other impurities. When condensed water is generated in the pipeline, it naturally sinks to the drain valve by gravity, enters the main body of the drain valve, filters out impurities through the internal isolation structure and filter screen, and then enters the floating ball chamber. When the condensate enters the float chamber, the float gradually rises with the increase of water level until the water level exceeds the preset upper limit. At this time, the control lever on the float will press the valve open to discharge the condensate and impurities from the pipeline, ensuring the smoothness of the pipeline. When all the condensed water is discharged, the water level in the float chamber decreases, and the float also decreases accordingly. At this time, the valve automatically closes and no longer discharges any substances.

2、 Structure

The floating ball steam trap consists of a valve body, valve cover, filter screen, isolation structure, floating ball chamber, floating ball and control rod, etc. It has a simple structure and is easy to maintain.

Valve body: It is the main part of this Universal Valve, with a built-in filter screen and isolation structure in the channel, which can effectively filter out impurities in condensed water.

Valve cover: It is connected to the valve body through a threaded structure, and rotating the valve cover can be used for maintenance and repair of the drain valve.
