1. For steam boiler Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve, the open full-open spring Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve S10 series is generally used;
2. For programmable switching butterfly valves for liquid media, the S10 series of micro-opening spring programmable switching butterfly valves are generally used;
3. For Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve used for air or other gas media, closed full-open spring Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve are generally used;
4. Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve for LPG truck tankers or LPG railway tank cars generally use full-opening built-in Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve;
5. Programmable switching butterfly valves are used at the outlet of oil production wells, and pilot-operated programmable switching butterfly valves are generally used;
6. For high-pressure bypass programmable switching butterfly valves of steam power generation equipment, pilot-operated programmable switching butterfly valves with dual functions of safety and control are generally selected.
7. If it is required to perform regular opening tests on the programmable switching butterfly valve, a programmable switching butterfly valve with a lifting wrench should be used. When the medium pressure reaches more than 75% of the opening pressure, the lift wrench can be used to slightly lift the valve disc from the valve seat to check the opening flexibility of the Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve;
8. If the medium temperature is high, in order to reduce the temperature of the spring chamber, generally when the operating temperature of the
Control Valve exceeds 300°C and the operating temperature of the open programmable switching butterfly valve exceeds 350°C, a programmable switching butterfly valve with a radiator should be selected. ;
9. If the outlet back pressure of the programmable switching butterfly valve changes and the variation exceeds 10% of the opening pressure, a bellows programmable switching butterfly valve should be used;
10. If the medium is corrosive, a bellows programmable switching butterfly valve should be used to prevent important parts from failing due to corrosion by the medium.
11. When installing and maintaining Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve, attention should be paid to the following construction and installation points:
1) The installation position, height, and inlet and outlet directions must meet the design requirements. Note that the direction of medium flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the valve body, and the connection should be firm and tight.
2) The Control Valve must be visually inspected before installation. The nameplate of the Control Valve should comply with the current national standard "General Control Valve Marking" GB 12220. For Control Valve with a working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and which function as a cut-off on main pipes, strength and tight performance tests should be carried out before installation, and they can only be used after passing the test. During the strength test, the test pressure is 1.5 times the nominal pressure and the duration is not less than 5 minutes. The Control Valve housing and packing should be free of leakage to be qualified.
12. There should be no resistance at the outlet of the Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve to avoid pressure.
13. The Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve should be specially tested before installation and its sealing should be checked.
14. The Programmable Switch Butterfly Valve in use should be inspected regularly.
