Universal Valve are automatic valves. Their function is to prevent the backflow of media in the pipeline. They are mainly used in pipelines with unidirectional flow of media. They only allow the media to flow in one direction to prevent accidents.
(1) The opening and closing parts should be in the closed position during storage and transportation, and the following work should be done:
① The flap of the
Gate Valve should be fixed in the open position.
② The inner openings at both ends of the diameter should be blocked with foam boards, and the ends should be plugged with blind covers to prevent dust and rust, keep the channel clean and the end surface flat;
③ The cylinder part should be properly packaged for protection, shock and collision prevention;
(2) The Gate Valve should be placed stably, with the pneumatic drive device facing upwards, and should not be squeezed against each other.
(3) Regular inspections should be carried out when placed for a long time. Check the dirt and rust on the two channels and sealing surfaces, and the protection of the welding joints every three months. After wiping off the dirt and rust, re-apply anti-rust oil for protection.
(4) In order to prevent the backflow of the medium, Universal Valve should be installed on equipment, devices and pipelines;
(5) Universal Valve are generally suitable for clean media and should not be used for media containing solid particles and high viscosity;
(6) Generally, Universal Valve should be used on horizontal pipelines with a nominal diameter of 50mm;
(7) Universal Valve should be stored in a dry and ventilated room to prevent moisture, rain and rust.
