Universal Valve only allow the medium to flow in one direction, and there is a directionality when installing. Its structural length is greater than that of Universal Valve, and the fluid resistance is large. When it is in long-term operation, the sealing reliability is not strong.

Gate Valve is opened, when the opening height of the valve disc is 25% to 30% of the nominal diameter, the flow rate has reached a maximum, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. Therefore, the fully open position of the stop valve should be determined by the stroke of the valve disc.
3. Universal Valve, also called stop valves, are relatively durable due to the small friction between the sealing surfaces during the opening and closing process. The opening height is not large, easy to manufacture, and convenient for maintenance. It is not only suitable for medium and low pressures, but also for high pressures. Its closing principle is to rely on the valve lever pressure to make the valve disc sealing surface fit closely with the valve seat sealing surface to prevent the flow of the medium.
4. Universal Valve operated by handwheels and handles can be installed at any position of the pipeline. Handwheels, handles and large-motion mechanisms are not allowed to be used for lifting.
5. Note that the flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the direction of the arrow shown on the valve body.
