1. Features of Slurry Valve

The Slurry Valve has a simple, scientific, safe and reliable structure. It is easy and flexible to open and close. It is labor-saving to operate. Compared with the Plunger Valve, it has the advantages of light and fast opening and closing. The sealing performance is unique and leak-free. The piston has a dual-effect function composed of a metal and non-metallic multi-layer sealing structure.

Application Of Slurry Ball Valve

The integrated valve seat (cylinder sleeve) has a radial conical sealing surface with high height, large contact area and good performance. The piston ring can be used in an all-round way according to the selection of materials for different applicable media. It is resistant to high temperature, wear, corrosion, and has strong resilience. After long-term use, if the piston ring is worn, the pressure can be adjusted to increase the original state during maintenance. The technology and process of repairing and replacing the piston ring of the Slurry Valve are simple and convenient. The valve body does not need to be disassembled from the pipeline. After stopping the steam, the valve cover assembly can be removed to replace the new piston ring for repeated use.
2. Structural performance and principle of Slurry Valve:
The Slurry Valve is composed of valve body, valve cover, gland, Valve Stem, valve plug, valve plug cover, piston ring, integrated cylinder sleeve (valve seat) lifting rod nut, plane bearing, hand wheel, bevel gear and other components. The piston is driven by the rotating lifting rod to make it move up and down between the inside and outside of the tapered cylinder sleeve to complete its closing and opening.
The cylinder sleeve structure of the Slurry Valve is conical. Stainless steel alloy steel or hard alloy is welded in the cone of the cylinder sleeve (valve seat) according to the applicable medium. The hardness of the weld layer can reach HRC40 and is made by boring and grinding. The sealing structure of the valve plug and the piston ring consists of a multi-layer seal of metal and non-metal. When one piston ring is worn out during long-term use and operation and the pressure adjustment has been adjusted to zero and the pressure adjustment has failed, the second metal cut-off tapered piston plays a simultaneous sealing role. Therefore, the service life of the Slurry Valve is as long as several times that of ordinary valves.
