1. Select
Universal Valve according to fluid parameters: material, temperature group
①Corrosive fluid: corrosion-resistant Universal Valve and all-stainless steel are recommended; edible ultra-clean fluid: food-grade stainless steel Universal Valve are recommended.
②High-temperature fluid: Universal Valve made of high-temperature resistant electrical materials and sealing materials should be selected, and piston-type structures should be selected.
③Fluid state: generally gaseous, liquid or mixed state, especially when ordering with a diameter greater than DN25, it must be distinguished.
④Fluid viscosity: usually below 50cSt can be selected arbitrarily, if it exceeds this value, a high-viscosity
Gate Valve should be selected.
2. Select Universal Valve according to pipeline parameters: diameter specification (ie DN), interface method
①Determine the diameter (DN) size according to the inner diameter size or flow requirements of the on-site pipeline.
②Interface method, generally > DN50 should choose a flange interface, ≤ DN50 can be freely selected according to user needs.
3. Electrical selection: Voltage specifications should be preferred to use AC220V and DC24 as much as possible, which is more convenient.
4. Select Universal Valve according to pressure parameters: principle and structural varieties
① Nominal pressure: This parameter has the same meaning as other general valves and is determined according to the nominal pressure of the pipeline.
② Working pressure: If the working pressure is low, the direct-acting or step-by-step direct-acting principle must be selected; when the low working pressure difference is above 0.04Mpa, direct-acting, step-by-step direct-acting, and pilot-operated types can be selected.
V. Select auxiliary functions according to environmental requirements: explosion-proof, check, manual, waterproof fog, water spray, diving
① Explosive environment: Universal Valve with corresponding explosion-proof grades must be selected.
② When there is a backflow phenomenon in the pipe, our company's OK71-N and OK72-N series of Universal Valve with check function can be selected.
③ When the Gate Valve needs to be manually operated on site, our company's OK71-S and OK72-S series of Universal Valve with manual functions can be selected.
④ Waterproof and dustproof varieties (protection level above IP54) should be selected for outdoor installation or dusty occasions.
⑤ For fountains, submersible Universal Valve (protection level above IP68) must be used.
6. Choose according to the duration of continuous working: normally closed, normally open, or continuously powered
① If the opening time is short or the opening and closing time is not much, choose the normally closed type.
② However, for some working conditions used for safety protection, such as furnace and kiln flame monitoring, the normally open type cannot be selected, and the type that can be powered for a long time should be selected
